Turn Around Time 

Synergistic Pesticide Lab specializes in pesticide residue analysis of primarily water, soil, and plant samples.  You can expect quality results wthin a guaranteed timeframe, 7 to 10 business days, depending on workload and time of year.  Specific projects may be rushed with pre-approval at an additional charge.

Shipping

Whenever possible, you will be provided with a sampling kit at no additional charge, which includes:  a cooler, certified clean sampling containers, gel ice coolant, a Chain of Custody (COC) document, and brief sampling and shipping instructions.

The amount of sample we need depends on the type and number of analyses.  Here are some general guidelines:

• WATER samples should be collected in 1 liter amber glass bottles
• SOIL samples should be in 8 ounce jars, soil bags, or zip lock bags
• PLANT samples should be in 1 gallon zip lock bags
• FOOD samples depend on the type, but at least 2 pounds is sufficient.
• FERTILIZER, PRODUCT, etc. should only be submitted in small quantities in leak-proof containers 

Please send the sample(s) with plenty of coolant (gel ice packs or a zip lock bag of ice) and our COC overnight to the lab.  During the winter, some samples with enough coolant can be sent 2nd Day or Ground.     

Reporting

After you submit a sample or set of samples, we will communicate with you regarding the project's status.  Upon completion of your project, you may choose to be contacted with verbal results and to receive your final report via fax, mail, or email (PDF).  We maintain a strict confidentiality policy and never share your results without your permission!
